Have you ever wanted a unique and unforgettable wedding that your friends and family will talk about forever? Even years after your special day? Having a destination wedding in Thailand will surely do that! (Take this from a bride who had her exotic fairytale wedding in Bangladesh and India).
Land of natural and mythical beauty, wonders, delicious food, and great hospitality, Thailand offers an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the world. Year-round sunshine and unique value, the “Land of Smiles” is suitable for any style of wedding. Also, one of the most noteworthy highlights of Thailand is that they are very LGBT friendly! Though civil (legal) ceremonies are not recognized (at least yet), symbolic ceremonies and wedding celebrations for same-gender couples are openly accepted almost everywhere in this fantastic country! So, read ahead and see why Thailand is a dream destination for ALL couples planning their destination wedding- and honeymoon.
Thailand is home to some of the most popular and luxurious properties in Asia with world-class service and gorgeous accommodations, which can also double as wedding venues. While there are many top-notched options, here are some of the top options and must-dos with your friends and family from my last visit to Thailand.

You can stroll through the trendiest spots, hottest rooftop restaurants, and stores offering the latest high-end fashions. The options are endless.

Phulay Bay, the world’s first Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is a rare place saved for those who appreciate luxurious sanctuaries tucked away in beautiful corners of the world. Couples can experience a unique and magical celebration where Thai Buddhist Monks perform a traditional blessing ceremony followed by vow ceremony surrounded by lotus, orchids, and thousands of candles in the Thai Pavilion, ending it with a seaside reception.
Must Do’s:
Spend a day on a yacht to Phi Phi Island or take a long-tail boat from Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve to Hong Island for sunbathing, swimming or just relaxing on the powdery white sand.
Visit The Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea). This Buddhist temple is one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the province. Located on top of a mountain, a stairway of 1,237 steps leads to the temple. Be physically prepared and have enough time on your hands, some people might need longer time to climb up and down as the steps are very steep and roaming monkeys greet you. You will leave feeling remarkable.
